BOLDED: 8/10s+ - HIGHLY Recommended albums. I LOVED these!
Normal: 6/10s & 7/10s - Recommended albums. I liked these overall.

    This 50s section is seriously lacking. Lots of great jazz in the 50s that deserves more credit. Dizzy & Getz, the Mingus Ah Um album is one of my favorites, Duke Ellington’s At Newport, Ella & Louis, Adderley’s Somethin’ Else, MILES DAVIS. And there’s no Ray Charles? Or Howlin Wolf (or any blues for that matter).
    Started in this section and I’m disappointed

    I haven’t really done much digging when it comes to 50s music- especially with jazz. That’s why there isn’t much.
