** NOTE: this list also doubles as my "maybe pile" in the sense that perhaps some of these SHOULD be considered MUST watches... but for now I feel comfortable listing them here **
Decent movies as well as my Fun Guilty Pleasures. Although I do recommend my Decent Movie picks and although they are entertaining enough where I can easily watch them from start to finish I don't think that they're good enough to be considered "must see" movies (my 6/10+s are all "must see" movies and for reference 99% of the time when it comes to movies I get bored and lose interest after like 10-15 minutes so these definitely do stand out in that sense). The most common problem I have with these movies is that they don't have enough depth and are therefore not very satisfying to watch. Or, if they were only aiming to be pure popcorn flicks, they were simply not exciting enough to be elevated to "must see" status. "House of Flying Daggers", "War of the Worlds", and "Independence Day" are good examples of pure popcorn flicks that I thought were just exciting enough to be 6/10 "must see" movies.
My Fun Guilty Pleasure picks are very obviously flawed, and yet I was still glad I watched them. They are basically the worst movies I’ve seen that still hold some sort of entertainment value. Some are hilariously so bad they're good, and some have just enough charm or are unique enough where it's worth watching them just once.
